Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) Declaration
MultiDo Services subscribes to and complies with the provisions of the Protection of Personal Information Act, No. 4 of 2013 (POPIA). We respect your right to privacy and are committed to ensuring that your personal information is collected, processed, stored, and used lawfully, reasonably, and transparently.
For purposes of this declaration, personal information has the meaning assigned to it in POPIA and may include, but is not limited to, your contact details, beneficiary information, financial information, and any other details required for the application or administration of our products and services.
The provision of the information requested in this application form is mandatory. MultiDo Services is unable to provide its products or services without the required personal information.
Purpose of Processing Personal Information
MultiDo Services may process your personal information, and where necessary share it with authorised service providers, intermediaries, data bureaus, and internal business units, for the following purposes:

Storage, Retention, and Security of Information
MultiDo Services undertakes to retain and use your personal information only for the purposes stated above. Once the purpose for which the information was collected has been fulfilled, the information will be securely destroyed beyond reconstruction, unless retention is required by law or regulation.

MultiDo Services will regularly review and maintain appropriate technical and organisational security measures to protect personal information against loss, unauthorised access, misuse, or disclosure. All third-party service providers engaged by MultiDo Services are required to comply with POPIA and maintain adequate data protection safeguards.
In the event of any actual or suspected data breach, MultiDo Services will notify affected data subjects and the Information Regulator in accordance with POPIA requirements.
Cross-Border Transfers
Service providers outside the Republic of South Africa may process your personal information. MultiDo Services will only transfer personal information to jurisdictions that provide adequate data protection safeguards, or where binding agreements ensure POPIA-equivalent protection. Your consent will be obtained before any such transfer where required.

Requests relating to access, correction, or objection may be made in accordance with the Promotion of Access to Information Act, 2000 (PAIA) manual available on request or on the MultiDo Services website.
Withdrawal of consent may be submitted in writing to admin@multido.co.za. I acknowledge that even after withdrawal, MultiDo Services may be legally required to retain certain records for a minimum period, including up to five (5) years after termination of the relationship.
